Our Identity:

Apostles is a welcoming home for spiritual orphans and seekers who gather together at God’s table. If you’ve been around here for a little while, are growing in Christ both in your heart and in your studies; if you’re starting to realize that this is your family and are doing things and volunteering, you are Apostles. Then out of that which drew us here, we become that welcoming home for spiritual orphans and seekers who may not like the church or have been damaged by it or really don’t have much of an idea at all about God. Welcome home if that’s you. And then we gather at God’s table. It is not and never has been an Anglican table. So if you come from a different denomination, but have accepted Christ and are baptized, welcome to God’s table.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to be a Christ-centered family where people can come as they are and become who God created them to be. There is not a cookie cutter in God’s Kingdom. God created each one of us as unique beings with specific gifts, abilities, and callings that can be used to further His kingdom. They are made to complement each other as one part of the body complements and helps the other part. We want people to come to our Apostles’ family as they are. There is no requirement to become something to begin one’s journey. The only requirement is as Jesus stated multiple times to multiple people, “come.” Once one decides to start the journey towards God’s Kingdom, in whatever capacity they are able, then the Apostles family as a whole can help them in multiple ways to become who God created them to be. This may be through individual spiritual counseling, small groups, formal teaching time, the liturgy, and even just through spending time together as Apostles does so well.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to minister hope and healing to each other, to our neighbors, and to the world. The hope does not come from us but rather through us because it is Jesus through us that will minister the hope and healing. We as a congregation are not exempt from needing hope and healing so we need to allow Jesus to use us to minister to each other in this family and then outflow to our neighbors and ultimately the world vision at Apostles.
Bring the Kingdom of God into all the places where we live,
to all the people we encounter.

How do people experience the Kingdom of God?
At God’s Table. In God’s Love. For God’s Mission.

A place to belong. A power to experience. A purpose to live for.
